Taste and See that the LORD is good

Dear Friends of Alaska,

Please mark your calendar for this 13th annual, priceless event.

Souls have been won for the King!  Captives have been set free!  Many have been baptized in the refreshing water of the Mentasta lake. During one service The Father answered a cry from the hearts of the village by thunder!  Plus, there has been at least one documented healing of a serious disease.

Native dancers have given glory to the creator of all nations in their Native American Plains Indian regalia of feathers, bells and handcrafted beaded dresses and shirts. Athabaskan and Eskimo dancing & Hula dance from the Pacific Islands, the war dance of the Maori-the blood curling Haka and the dangerous Fire Kife Dance, have been performed in honor of the King of Kings during these camps.

Suicide amongst the natives in Mentasta Village has been stopped for 25 years!

It is because the Lord has graciously sent his people over many, many years.  Plymouth Brethren, Baptists, Pentecostals, Lutherans, Evangelicals and a potpourri of the nations from around the world have touched the lives there with good news..

Again, this year the SOG Hip Hop Crew will be joining us from California!  Last summer, EVERY kid in the village was hip hoping to the message of the Kingdom (in their own language-the language of youth...Acts 2)

I believe the main earthly reason that this village has been blessed is the leaders there, in particular, Katie John, have welcomed and prayed for God to come to this village.

This event is located in the breathtaking beauty of the Alaska Mentasta Mountain Range. The village is on the road system about 1 hour from Tok, Alaska.

There will be youth events all week:  a mountain climb, hiking, swimming, boating, special challenging speakers, youth workers, hot music! and lots of great food.

We have co-labored with the founders of Alaska Ablaze-Ray and Rosie Tapp's church, Faith Harbor in Valdez-and many other streams of churches, faith based ministry and groups since the beginning of the camp. It requires much prayer to make this happen.  Ask the Father what your role may be for this event.

Many hands make light work!  There is great joy in serving others!  If you believe the Lord has a special purpose for your life or you feel you want to do something beyond "church" for Him, pray about how you could help during this amazing time.  Whatever sacrifice you make to be a part of this, you will be blessed beyond measure.  If you choose to join us at the camp, you will see that any time spent in this incredibly beautiful Alaska location will be treasured in your heart always.
